At Ubuntu Visions NPC, our mission is simple: to show up with love, compassion, and care—especially for those who cannot speak for themselves. Our belief in Ubuntu—"I am because we are"—drives us to bring dignity and support to the most vulnerable members of our society. And few are more vulnerable than abandoned babies and toddlers in need of safety, care, and love.
This week, Ubuntu Visions had the privilege of visiting Rock of Hope, a beautiful Place of Safety Nursery and loving home for children who have been abandoned or orphaned. Rock of Hope is more than just a shelter—it’s a sanctuary where babies and toddlers are nurtured, comforted, and given the start in life that every child deserves.
Thanks to the support of our monthly pledgers, we donated much-needed nappies, wet wipes, and essential baby care products to the nursery. These are the everyday items that keep babies clean, healthy, and comfortable—but for facilities like Rock of Hope, they’re often in short supply. Your R100 monthly pledges helped fill that gap in a meaningful and immediate way.
Walking into the nursery, seeing the smiles, hearing the giggles, and knowing that our Ubuntu community helped make a difference—these are the moments that remind us why we do what we do. These little ones can’t ask for help, but together, we can answer their unspoken need.
And this is only the beginning. The more monthly pledges we receive, the more homes like Rock of Hope we can support. Every contribution brings comfort, dignity, and a sense of belonging to a child who might otherwise be forgotten.
